Dahiya was the first arabian horse purchased by LSD Arabians in 1998. She is very gentle and easy to handle, but persistent and frontways when ridden, an aspect of her character which she passes on to her offspring. Over the years, she has given us some good offspring: Nirvana (2002), Marius (2007), Damascus (2010) and Doha (2012).
Dahiya's sire is the wellknown GWIZD, bred by Michalow Stud, Poland and leased by Tersk for 2 years. Later on, he was exported to the U.S., and acted there as a sire for several years, before his re-exportation to Belgium. Gwizd is the sire of Champion & Tersk Stallion Negasimyi, European Champion & World res. Champion Mare Karaganda, Show Champions Emrich, Moonligt and Magdalina, as well as racehorse Pogojii 3/16 (4-3-1). He's alsothe sire of internationally qualified endurance horses, such as Epson de la Bruskaie, Alicia d'havenne, and the grandsire of several french endurance horses trough its son Pogojii.
Dahiya's dame DYRMA, was bred by Gestut ISMER in Germany and exported to the U.S. She gave several offspring there, before being brought to Belgium. Dahiya's half-sister Oso Divine (Dyrma x Pegaz) is the mother of amongst others Oso Peppy (100-mile horse), Oso Denmark (100mile horse, 11th Thevis Cup 2007)
In 2013, Dahiya left LSD Arabians for her new home in Rochefort. Her filly Doha stays at LSD Arabians to continue the bloodline.
